Denise is an English actress widely recognised for her siren TV characters in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and especially for her portrayal of Hazel in Russell T Davies' iconic 'Queer as Folk' and 'Cucumber'.

She has toured the globe in Shakespeare, Shaw, Albee, Ackbourn, Lorca and Chekhov. She's also run bands, produced plays and won awards - including Best Performance in a Play for The Cherry Orchard.
